Sudoku Rules and Solving Strategies
- To solve a Sudoku puzzle, every number from 1 to 9 must appear in:
- each of the nine horizontal rows
- each of the nine vertical columns
- each of the nine 3x3 blocks - The objective is to place a number from 1 to 9 in each cell so that each row, each column and each 3x3 block contain all the numbers from 1 to 9
